This is an interactive game that can be used for entertainment or home decoration preparation. Includes model flooring, lighting, bedroom ideas, bathroom decorating, living room, kitchen decorating, building, exteriors and more. A how-to guide is also offered, as are a wide array of patterns and design and decoration ideas.

Interior Design Society
Site offers message boards for interior designers to communicate, an events calendar, and more. The Interior Design Society (IDS) was founded in 1973, and is the largest design organization exclusively dedicated to serving the residential interior design industry. Membership in The Interior Design Society attests commitment to excellence in the field of residential interior design. IDS is an association comprised of residential interior designers; interior decorators; design-oriented home furnishings stores and their staff; design studios; select manufacturers and distributors of design oriented products or services. Individual membership levels are based on education and/or work experience. Studio, Store and Trade memberships are open to companies based on the quality of design offered in their products, displays and customer service. Students of interior design are also welcome to join the Society, as are home furnishings salespeople who desire to advance their knowledge of interior design or interior decoration.

American Society of Interior Designers

The National Council for Interior Design
The National Council for Interior Design Qualification serves to identify to the public those interior designers who have met the minimum standards for professional practice by passing the NCIDQ examination. The Council endeavors to maintain the most advanced examining procedures, and to update continually the examination to reflect expanding professional knowledge and design development techniques. It seeks the acceptance of the NCIDQ examination as a universal standard by which to measure the competency of interior designers to practice as professionals. Includes information about certification and licenses for interior designers.
